Happy 1/3 Birthday!

Carsyn is 4 months old today!

Before and After

Here is Carsyn on Tuesday morning before going to daycare. Then here she is after coming home. This little girl plays hard during the day. Tony and I found the best babysitter. Brandy loves Carsyn and is so great with her! Carsyn hangs out all day with Callen and Keoni. Callen is only 10 days younger than Carsyn and Keoni is 4. Then Savannah comes around 1 in the afternoon and she just turned 1 in April. Carsyn loves to watch the older kids plays. Carsyn is obviously an only child. Every time Brandy talks to any of the kids, Carsyn thinks she is talking to her. She starts laughing and cooing and talking back. Brandy says Carsyn doesn't miss a things. She's very observant and thinks she is a big girl.

Look Mom...Hands

Tony fed Carsyn for me this morning while I was getting ready for church. Apparently she has gotten so comfortable with the bottle she can hold it now.

She'll be 4 months old on Thursday. I'm amazed how much she has grown and changed in such a short time. While she wants to be independent and hold her head up and look around and hold her own bottles...She still likes to snuggle with her mommy and daddy.

Big Girl Nap

Carsyn took a nap in her crib in her very own room this afternoon! She's spent the last 4 months in our room. When she woke up this week at 3am just to chat, I knew it was time to move her out! But the reality is, I'm big talk. Taking a nap in her crib in the nursery is all together different than actually spending the entire night. We'll see what happens tonight.

Tummy Time!

Carsyn is starting to enjoy playing on her tummy. This was the first time she looked in the mirror and didn't cry. It's hard work for a little one to build those neck muscles.

I'm so Hoppy!

Yep, I did it. I put Carsyn in a bunny outfit. Not quite as bad as the one from A Christmas Story. She even had a little tail. This was her Easter Sunday afternoon attire. I also included a picture from back in March with her looking at her great-grandma Phyllis. My mom is holding her and her huge bunny from PaPa T. She was a great baby at Easter. Most of Tony's family had not met her yet and they all thought she was beautiful. Makes a mama proud!

Start Blogging

With all the debate between MySpace and Facebook and my confusion as to which site to use and the reality that I don’t actually use either…I decided to blog. Several friends from church have blogs and I like reading them. I’ve been a blog stalker for a while, but I now feel it’s time to join in. Carsyn is growing and changing daily and I want our friends and family to witness what Tony and I are enjoying…without me sending out a million emails or boring people if they’re not interested that she likes her jumperoo.
