So Friday night I tried deer meat for the first time. I realize this is slightly hard to believe since I grew up in Oklahoma.My dad and Tony both hunt from time to time, but not enough to bring home a deer and eat it. Misty's husband Jeff cooked for us. (but it's the deer MISTY SHOT! Talk about roll reversal. Who is the hunter and who is the gatherer now?)
He made deer kabobs. Very good! I'm on board for deer meat.
